Dr. Gregory Carpenter is a cybersecurity and biomedical systems strategist specializing in information warfare, deception, and the protection of complex, high-risk environments. He serves as Principal Partner at CW PENSEC, leading initiatives across cyber operations, medical device security, and global health systems.
A former U.S. Army cyber, medical service and counterintelligence professional with experience supporting national-level missions, his work focuses on how threats propagate across technical, biological, and cognitive systems.
Dr. Carpenter is a co-author of Reverse Deception and author of The Nation That Had to Be Built: Design, Loyalty, and the End of Conditional Union, a systems analysis of the evolution of the Constitution. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Special Operations Medical Association and a fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts.

This workshop includes live demonstrations and controlled hands-on labs showing how open-source subdermal implants can function as offensive cyber-physical tools. Len Noe, 213, demonstrates implant-based NFC, RFID, BLE, cryptographic identity, and magnetic biosensing workflows using isolated test equipment. Dr. Gregory Carpenter, JunkBond, maps each demonstration to adversary behavior, identity failure, physical-access risk, and defensive mitigation.
The workshop examines what changes when the attacker is not carrying the hardware, but is the hardware. Attendees will observe controlled implant-based demonstrations, reproduce selected concepts using lab NFC tags, dummy RFID credentials, isolated readers, and non-production devices, and leave with practical defensive guidance for NFC, RFID, BLE, access-control, and cyber-physical identity systems.
