Adversary Village abides by and enforces DEF CON Code of Conduct (CoC)
As a community, Adversary Village is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space that promotes learning, dialogue, and community-building around adversary simulation, offensive cyber security and purple team collaboration at DEF CON. We believe cyber security thrives when ideas are shared openly across diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. To support this vision, we strictly uphold a culture of respect, free from harassment or discrimination.
All participants, including attendees, speakers, volunteers, and organizers, are expected to adhere to both the Adversary Village Code of Conduct and the overarching DEF CON Code of Conduct (CoC).
Expected Behavior:
Adversary Village is home to a diverse and global community. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of nationality, age, gender identity, orientation, ethnicity, religion, political views, or experience levels.
Whether engaging in person or online, you are expected to act with integrity, professionalism, and respect toward everyone in our space.
While we encourage constructive disagreement; harassment, abusive language, exclusionary or demeaning jokes, bullying, or threats of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Consequences:
If someone asks you to stop unacceptable behavior, you must stop immediately.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in appropriate actions by the organizers, including removal from sessions, disqualification from contests, or a temporary or permanent ban from Adversary Village events.
Zero tolerance will be enforced for any form of threat or intimidation.
Reporting and Support:
If you experience or witness a violation,
In Person: Notify any Adversary Village volunteer and request to speak with an organizer.
